At least 21 motorbikes have been seized by police in Maungdaw town on Monday.
Throughout the day, police stopped Rohingya men on motorbikes and asked to see their papers. The police then went on to find some faults with the paper work and kept all the vehicles. Some of the bikers were even slapped by the police.
No Rakhine biker was stopped by the police.
Many victims say their paper work were in perfect order but the police kept their vehicles nonetheless.
Throughout the day the police kept changing their locations throughout the town to surprise the bikers.
