Teknaf Correspondent: BGB (Border Guard of Bangladesh) has recovered 40,000 pieces of intoxicated Yaba tablets from Jadimura area of Teknaf police station.
According to sources, a group of Border Guard of Bangladesh personals, 5-6 in numbers from BOP (Boder Outpost) of Dumdumia, conducted operation in Jadimura of Teknaf and recovered 40,000 Yaba tablets worth about 12 millions Taka from the area on 23rd of Janu, 2016 at around 6.00 pm.
The Lt. Colonel of BGB, Abujar Al Zahid said, “we will continue such raids in our area to ensure Yaba free zone”.
He further said, “these types of intoxicated drugs are produced in Burma and put in to Bangladesh by the Burmese smugglers in cooperation of Burmese government officials in order that they can make much money from smuggling and put Bangladeshi innocent people in to trouble or to destroy the lives”.
