A fire has burned down the hut of a Rohingya man in Yong Chong, Buthidaung according to our local correspondent.
The house of Robi Alam, s/o Rashid Ullah caught fire at around 10.30 pm on Monday.
As Robi and others gathered around to put out the fire, they noticed three local Rakhine men belonging to the 969 movement walk calmly away.
Locals say the presence of the Rakhine men around the scene is mysterious.
A spate of mysterious fires since February has regularly burned down houses of Rohingya Muslims. In each case after the fire burns down Rohingya houses, authorities blame the victims for setting fire to their own houses to discredit Buddhist nationalist movements.
