Another infant child has died at the Leda refugee camp in Bangladesh, according to our correspondent.
A one and a half year boy Md Saiful, s/o Sabbir died of dierrohea on Friday.
At least seven infants have died in the past few days after the government of Bangladesh shut down all humanitarian operations including water and healthcare in the camp.
As water is unvailable, Rohingya refugees are forced to dig out water from holes. The dirty water has led to dierrahoea for which children are especially suffering. Local miscreants prevent refugees from collecting water in nearby villages.
The situation is worse as healthcare is also suspended.
Recent government actions are creating a humanitarian crisis for refugees in the area.
