A police team along with a recently arrested prisoner visited Kiladong on Saturday morning.
The police team came with a jeep and six motorcycles to the restive village tract where a pro government collaborator Md Sultan Ahmed has been murdered.
Raid by security forces apprehended an innocent Rohingya man called Lalaiya on Wednesday evening.
Following the killing of Sutan, all Rohingya men had fled the village in anticipation of a brutal crackdown. Laliya only returned to his in laws to have dinner when the police raided the house and arrested him.
As Lalaiya was brought to Kiladong, he looked broken and unable to stand. But the police continued to assault him continuously.
At one point, police bought out a video camera and told Laliaya to point out how they had killed Sultan.
Earlier in the event of a police murder, some Kiladong villagers were made to admit in the same manner in front of a video camera after days of torture in custody.
Security forces have killed more than a hundred men by torturing them since 2012. Kiladong villagers have been one of the main targets of this brutal method since the 2014 January massacre. At that time the government refused to acknowledge that police and BGP had helped a Rakhine mob slaughter scores of innocent Rohingya Muslims especially women and children in a night raid. Rather survivors of the massacre were picked up and subjected to brutal torture in an effort to prevent them from disclosing the incident.
