BGP has ordered villagers in Rajar Bil, Rathedaung to quickly bury the corpse of a man they shot after Wednesday midnight.
39 year Maulavi Kashem was shot by the BGP after he went to fish in the river at late night when there is a high tide.
On Wednesday, the picture of his dead body surfaced all over the social media. This has made the BGP furious and they have ordered villagers in Rajar Bil to bury the dead and keep quiet.
Rajar Bil was the scene of a brutal crackdown in March and April. Many prisoners from Rajar Bil where brutally tortured by BGP which included having their beards burned.
Now the BGP has threatned to launch another similar raid if the commotion created by the killing of Kashem does not die down.
