Maungdaw- Today, a gang of police, at night around 09:00 pm, patrolled some Rohingya houses and called some Rohingya villagers of Kyein Chaung/Bolibazar, MaungDaw Township to share some advice with the Rohingya that why you, Muslims are not obeying the president Thein Sein `s super law and order, to write Bengali in census enumeration? Otherwise, you should be in trouble by the Burmese authorities soon, told by a police, namely, Zaw Zaw son of Aung Tha Maung.
The villagers responded to the police that they are Rohingyas and not Bangalis, also added that Rohingya is not a new term but known by Burmese government and international communities around the world. Then, the police tried to attack them ultimately, some Rohingya were arrested and the relatives of those arrestees stated that they are not released from the police station till now. The arrestees are being tortured until paying the demanded amount by police, added by the relatives of the arrestees.
