Rohingya Muslims in villages north of Pathor Keela town are living in fear after more than a hundred Rakhine houses burned down in a nearby village on Friday.
Since the authorities have asked Rohingya Muslims not to come out of their homes for a week fearing mob attacks. As most of the locals are dependent on a daily income, they have little or nothing to eat at home.
Many Rakhines say that this was an act of arson.
The cause of the fire is however not known at this point.
