Sittway Correspondent: Some destructive bombs have been recovered under a bridge between the rubber garden near Miza Gwesoon and the Miza Gwesoon street on 25th Feb, 2016 at around 10.00 pm.
It is informed that some destructive bombs under the recently re-constructed bridge between rubber garden nearby Miza Gwesoon and Miza gwesoon Street near the refugee camp in Sittway have been recovered by police, which were believed to be set up with pre-plan of explosion by Arkan Army. Just after the recovery of bombs, more other police forces have rushed to the spot for investigation of the bombs recovery occurrence.
A refugee from the refugee camp said, now the movement over the bridge has been banned for the usual pedestrians.
He added that the Rohingyas are in panic situation following the recovery of bombs and it is not clear yet that the bombs were really planted under the government officials plying bridge by any Arkan Army rebels with a view to explode at the time of government officials movement or the police forces themselves concealed them for making allegation against the innocent Rohingyas”.
No further details have been received as the people are not able to go nearby the spot due to restrictions imposed on the public by the police recently.
