Burma Times: A Human Right dissociation panel was held in Germany on 5th of March 2106 regarding the global human right issues going on against the minority groups in the world.
The conference was organized by IGMF where about hundreds of the delegates from different organizations and communities attended the conference to address the human right issues across the world.
Mohamed Ibrahim, General Secretary of European Rohingya Council (ERC) and Mr. Hussian Azmi has attended the conference where he had received opportunity to address the root causes of persecution and human right abuses against Rohingya community for decades.
He raised the current problems and history of past and present of Rohingya community living in Burma for centuries. He has also expressed how the Rohingya community has been treated by the Burmese brutal military regime, how the human right abuses against the Rohingya community has been going on and slow-burning genocide of Rohingya in Burma for decades.
Ibrahim also tried in his speech to address the root causes of persecutions on Rohingya community to draw the international attention towards the end to the decades-long persecution of Rohingya community in Burma.
He urged the international communities and the worldwide powerful bodies in his speech to concentrate towards the solution of long standing problems of Rohingya in order that they can live in peace as one of the ethnic minority group like other 35 ethnic groups in Burma as the Rohingya is also an ethnic group whose existence in Burma is for centuries which is repeatedly denied by brutal Burmese government despite the presence of historical evidence of Rohingya’s existence in Burma.
It is hoped that the participants of the conference could realize the problems raised by Mr Ibrahim and work together towards the solution of Rohingya community’s long term issues for which thousands of Rohingya are in persecutions in Burma and many thousands are in abroad waiting for return to their beloved country, Burma.
