A house burned down in Hansar or Dhil, Maungdaw North, according to our local correspondent.
The fire occurred in the house of Sonaiya (29), s/o Amir Hossain at around 8.15 pm on Monday as the family prepared to sleep.
The victims say that this is unlikely to be an accident as the stoves were turned off.
Since February, a string of mysterious fire incidents have burned down houses of Rohingyas mainly in Maungdaw and Buthidaung.
In some incidents, locals claimed to see 969 members hanging around suspiciously nearby.
In most cases however, the government has blamed the victims for setting fire to their own houses to discredit Buddhist nationalist movements.
