Robbers snatched away cash and dried fish from two Rohingya fishermen at Shaplapur, Bangladesh, according to our corresspondent.
The two fishermen Lalu Miah (35), s/o Halu Hossain, and Iman Sharif (27), s/o Abdul Jalil were returning from the coastal area of Shaplapur to Leda refugee camp on Monday when they were intercepted by a gang of five robbers. The robbers took away their belongings that included 80 kg of dried fish and around 15,000 taka. The men also received multiple injuries from assault during the robbery.
The men are residents of the Leda refugee camp. They sell wholesale fish on a weekly basis at the camp.
