Four Rohingyas have been arrested in Zibong Hali, Maungdaw North.
On Sunday night, four young men were intercepted by Hlun Htein near the village tract. The security personal alleged that the Rohingyas were coming back from a meeting with Islamic militants as there was no other reason they could be out on the roads at 8pm.
Locals say there are no armed Rohingya groups in the area.
Those arrested on these charges are severely tortured in custody. Since the 2012 riots, hundreds have died under torture after they were arrested on trumped up charges.
