Fears of ethnic cleansing in Kyauktaw

A corpse has been discovered in the hills alongside Kepru, Kyauktaw on Saturday.
Local Rakhines belong to Buddhist nationalist groups claim that the murder has been committed by Muslims. They also claim to identify the corpse as belonging to a local teacher O Tin Maung from Chaikum para.
The school teacher has been missing for a fortnight.
Medical authorities have not confirmed the identity of the corpse as the head was missing. Whether the corpse belonged to a Rakhine or a Rohingya has not been confirmed either. A post mortem has been ordered.
