A refugee child has died in Shapalpur, Bangladesh after her parents could not give money for the treatment.
Two and a half year old Amina Khatun, d/o Aman Ullah had been suffering from diarrhoea.
On Thursday, Amina’s parents took her to the doctor at Shaplapur bazar. The doctor told her parents that the patient needed injection and medicine which would cost a lot of money.
When her parents said that they only had 200 taka, the doctor said that there was no way she could be treated with such a small amount.
As her parents took her to another doctor, she died on the way.
