The army continues to arrest suspected insurgents while cracking down on local Rakhines in Kyauktaw.
Clashes erupted in the area following a rare offensive by a Rakhine insurgent group Arakan Army.
On Tuesday, army recovered large amounts of weapons and ammunition from a jungle. The catch included assault rifles, explosives, rocket launchers and grenades.
Meanwhile there are unconfirmed reports that some Rakhine army personal were refusing to raid civilian villages.
After several days of fighting, it seems that the violence is abating.
