Burma Correspondent: The National League for Democracy, National and the International Communities have condemned Nationalist Terror monk “Wirathu” for posting a video on social media seen to be inciting inter-communal violence. The Facebook has also deleted it on 1st of Feb, 2016 since it is violation of their norms
Information Minister, U Yee Tun also refused to comment on it for not finding the aforesaid video. But as he heard about the video, it was informed to the Buddhist Religious Ministry to handle it.
The Assistant Director General, U Zani Win of Yangon Divisional Information Ministry said that he himself did not find the video and if there is anyone to complain, legal action will be taken in the court against the criminal.
If we get any complain about it, we will collect the detail evidence of, what, where and how it happened and then we will conduct investigation into the matter, said the Director General.
The six minutes aforesaid video is the part of rape incident of a Rakhine girl, Ma Thida Twe named as “Black Date” occurred in Rakhine state which was initially taken in 2012. There is hate speech in the short video inciting communal violence that Ma Thi Da Twe was raped to death by Muslims.
The hate speech deliverer centering the rape incident targeting the Muslims, Wirathu who was jailed for inciting violence during the period of military government said to Myanmar Times that the aforesaid six minutes video is to show the relish attitude and the full video will be shown after the NLD go to power in March.
Wirathu said, “I want to show the NLD Government how to prioritize on nation and Buddhist religion protection”.
A NLD top level officer U Win Tin said, “I strongly condemn and criticize the activities of Wirathu which he want to incite inter-communal violence in the country”.
U Win Tin said before the erase of short video posted by Wirathu in Facebook, “I want to ask question that, is the elite monk genuine or does he want to create inter-communal violence with evil intention in the country”.
