A Rohingya man was arrested by BGP as he went to fetch a midwife for his sister’s delivery, according to our local correspondent.
Solim Ullah (19), s/o Sadek was arrested at Feram puru, Maungdaw North at around 9.30 pm by a BGP patrol.
Solim was going to fetch a midwife as his sister was giving birth. However BGP men accused him of planning to set houses on fire.
He was then assaulted and taken to camp. He was later released on the payment of 200,000 kyats.
