A man has stabbed a woman at Nayapara refugee camp in Bangladesh after she protested his illicit affair with his daughter on Saturday.
Md Salek (25), s/o Md Jalil was having an illicit affair with a woman despite both of them being married. When the mother Hossain Bahar (50) protested the affair, saying they should be married to each other, Salek stabbed her at around 12.25 pm.
Bahar has been rushed to the hospital in critical condition. Camp authorities meanwhile arrested the daughter.
Salek has fled the refugee camp. He is known among other refugees as a criminal and a dacoit.
Bahar is still in critical condition.
