Security forces arrested a man for allegedly having links with a banned resistance group in Sibong Kaya of Maungdaw.
On Friday, Hlun Htein forces along with some government collaborators surrounded the house of Enamul. They assaulted Enamul and accused him of hiding militants belonging to the Rohingya Solidarity Organisation (RSO).
During the raid, the government collaborators robbed the house taking 150,000 kyats with them.
The man was then taken to base and tortured throughout the night. However no information was found linking him to the resistance movement.
During the torture, Enamul was also accused of having links to the terror group IS.
In the past few days, the security forces have harassed many innocent Rohingyas for having ties with the terror group.
Independent analysts say the group does not have a presence in the region.
Aishwaramu Syed Hossain, Abdul Mannan, Abdul Salam and Ibrahim aided the Hlun Htein in the raid.
