More mass graves have been discovered in Malaysia, police in the country said on Sunday. The graves have been found in the heavily forested border area with Thailand.
The bodies were uncovered on Saturday near the same area where hundreds of graves were discovered in Thailand during May triggering international concerns and condemnations against the autocracies of the Burmese regime and human traffickers.
Thousands of Rohingyas and some Bangladeshis were held in brutal jungle camps in Thailand by human traffickers and were tortured for ransom. These cries were often relayed by phone to relatives to speed up the ransom process. Hundreds have been killed and their bodies were thrown into shallow graves.
