Yesterday is Bangladesh National Mourning Day, and the Bangladesh is paying tribute to its Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman on his death anniversary. On this day in 1975, the nation’s independence hero was assassinated at his Dhanmondi 32 house along with most his family members by some rogue soldiers in one of the bloodiest political assassinations in the world. The day is observed at the state level as the National Mourning Day in memory of the victims of the military coup.
As a part of observing the National Mourning Day of Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman on his death aanniversary, the honorable Refugee Relief and Rehabilitation Commissioner (RRRC) from Cox’s Bazar, organized the death anniversary ceremony of Sheikh Mujibur Rahman in Kutupalong Rohingya Refugee camp with all staff and officials from all NGOs, INGOs, AGENCIES and Governments to pay him homage where the honorable participants kept their valuable speeches as the people of Bangladesh can remember and follow him. For instance, the honorable Camp In Charge of Kutupalong Refugee camp kept special thanks to all staff who are working with refugee keeping their humanities on this persecuted minority. We know our hero and national father Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman was also very humanitarian and he worked lot for the helpless and defendless people like refugee.
Not only that, but also the Honorable head of sub-UNHCR from Cox’s Bazar, thanks to RRRC sir for invited him and felt regret for Bangladesh people for lost the Bangabandu Sheik Mujibur Rahaman. And thanks to Bangladesh and its people for given shelter and serving the Rohingya refugee long time where he reminded the Bangladesh people about their flew to India and Burma as refugee, and urged all the staff to work with humanity. And the ceremony was started by reciting Holy Quran and a minute of solemn silence to homage to Bangabandu Sheik Mujibur Rahaman and ended with Dua.
