An innocent Rohingya boy has been killed by a racialist Buddhist Rakhine driver in a car accident in Taung Htaung Village of Kyawktaw Township at around5 p.m on January 20, 2016.
The victim is identified Mohammed Yaser s/o Mr. Shabbir, (7) year old.
Eyewitnesses told that the driver left the spot after the accident without having a little fear as he didn’t care whether he committed any crime.
It is still unknown that if the law enforcers have taken any step to bring the killer to book or not.
“Now the government is going to change and talking about rule of law but no one Buddhist feels any guilty for killing Rohingya” said an elder who is an eyewitness of the incident.
“Two or three Rohingya are killed in daily manner in Arakan state and other parts of the country since 2012, mostly youths, women and innocent kids who have not been idea for why they become victims, are targeted” said another Rohingya elder to Burma Times.
Rohingya in Arakan State loses their belief as there will be better for their living in Arakan even if the new government is appeared lead by world noble peace laureate Daw Aung San Suu Kyi.
