Police arrested five people from a madrasah (religious school) in Rajar Bil, Rathedaung on Tuesday.
At around 9pm, police raided the madrasa in the restive village.
Two teachers Md Sabbir (40) and Enayet Ullah (28) were among the arrested.
A student named Johar (25) was also arrested.
The identities of the two others have not been confirmed.
Scores of Rohingya Muslims from Rajar Bil have been arrested and tortured in the last few days. The crackdown started in response to the escape of six prisoners from the nearby prison in Kiang Dong.
Following the crackdown, most Rajar Bil residents had fled the village. However the madrasa men, some of them not locals of the area thought they had no reasons to be afraid and stayed on.
Arrests, torture and sexual harassment have also taken places in other areas of Ratheduang in the past few days.
