Forced to walk on nails and burned with fire

The four men arrested in connection with missing prisoners in Rajar Bil, Rathidaung have been subjected to brutal torture in Kiang Dong jail, according to our local correspondent.
Md Solim (40) s/o Sikander, Sanayet (15) s/o Hafez Ahmed, Nurul Haque (15) s/o Imam Hossain and Monjur Alam (15) s/o Noor Ahmed were arrested last week after their relatives went missing from custody.
Altogether six men escaped from custody after being brutally tortured in custody. Police say they have escaped while relatives allege they have been killed.
The arrested men are the younger brothers and in the case of Nurul, son of the missing men.
Sources say that the arrested men were forced to walk on nails and burned with fire by security forces. They are being asked about the whereabouts of the missing men.
Meanwhile villagers tried to secure their release by paying money but authorities have rejected the offer. Relatives are also not allowed to meet the prisoners.
