A local shopkeeper and his cohorts have heavily injured a Rohingya boy in Nayapara refugee camp, Bangladesh, according to our correspondent.
Md Sadek (19), s/o Haji Sultan was assaulted by a Bangladesh man Hossain (28) s/o Noor Ali near the Camp-in-Charge Jalal Uddin’s office.
On Friday night, when Hossain was walking back from his shop, he shone his torchlight on the faces of Sadek. This angered the boy who along with his friends and family confined Hossain and asked him never to shine a torchlight on anyone’s face.
The next day Hossain along with his cohorts intercepted Sadek and assaulted him. Sadek is still in hospital.
The CIC responded by closing the market that hosts Hossain’s shop.
