Seven people have been arrested by Hlun Htein forces in the Náing Caung area of Maungdaw North on Saturday.
The Hlun Htein accuses this people of using Bangladesh phones to keep in touch with IS terrorists based in that country.
The victims have been identified as Mobarak (18), Abu Kalam (17), Nurul Huda (32), Md Rashid (35), Shomsu (32), Zafar (30) and Sadek (25), the last four men being brothers.
Hlun Htein claim to have found Bangladesh phones in their possession during a raid on their houses. Many Rohingyas actually use Bangladesh phones to keep in touch with their friends and relatives over the border. Almost half the population of Arakan state have fled to Bangladesh following decades of persecution in Myanmar.
Hlun Htein however says those using Bangladesh phones use it to connive with terrorists. The charge of IS militants have recently been added though independent analysts say the terror group does not have a presence in the region.
