Father failed to pay bribes
Burma Times Correspondent: February 28, 2015
A tabbe has deleted the name of a 12 year boy from census as his father failed to pay bribe money, according to our local correspondent.
The tabbe Obaidul Haque has been demanding 80,000 kyats from Md Shuheb, s/o Md Kolim, as his two sons were supposedly earning a lot of money working abroad.
As Shuheb could not pay the money, Obaidul made sure that officials did not register the name of his son Shoaib during census. As a result, both father and son face deportation and arrest.
