A tensed atmosphere is prevailing in Furma para, Maungdaw North a fortnight after the killing of a government collaborator.
Syed Ahmed was killed on April 15 by a gang of Rakhine miscreants with whom he had a personal clash. But the BGP alleged that Rohingya Muslims had killed him and launched a crackdown on the village tract.
In the following crackdown, one man was killed and three other wounded. One of the wounded man Dolu is currently in BGP custody undergoing treatment.
Two others, Kamal and Rashid escaped after being hit by bullets.
