Burma Times , Kyawktaw, An attack between (AA) Arakan Army and the Burmese troops has been continuing in Rakhine state since last week where the (AA) Arakan Armies were defeated due to heavy pressure and attack on AA rebels by Burmese soldiers and the (AA) Arkan Armies could not advance forwad and hide.
At the beginning of assault, the defense minister, Mient Aung Hlain being out of control of his anger to see his soldiers being defeated and losses, he commanded his troops with his highest power to fight violent or heavily back with the heavy and sophisticated weapons surrounding the (AA) Arakan Armies. When the Burmese armies fought back violently, the AA rebels fled back being unable to defense themselves, according to information.
While the AA insurgents were defeated and fleeing back, a (AA) rebel was arrested by the Burmese security forces who were watching the AA insurgents day and night entering into Rohinyas’ villages in Kyawktaw Township. However, the arrested AA insurgent was from Sannga Taung (Binapara) village, Sagga Thang (Kakwe) Gong Taung Hemlet, Kyawktaw Township and the rest four AA rebels managed to flee, according to a security force who declined to mention his name and rank.
Again on 09.01.2016 at 1.30 pm the security forces based at Paithi Hemlet arrested a group of
AA rebels fleeing along the road, according to Kyaw Win 38 S/O U Tha Maung, Myuk U Township, native of Kyin Chaung.
Similarly, today two (AA) Arakan Armies have been captured in Taungup Township
