Two Rohingya Muslims were fined 400,000 kyats for travelling out of their designated zones, according to our correspondent.
Hafez Md Shofik went to visit his uncle Noor Mohammad in Hashurata, Maungdaw North on Friday.
This drew the attention of a local Tabbe, Siraj Ullah who called the uncle and nephew to his place on Saturday.
Only Noor went, and he was fined 300,000 kyats. The tabbe has asked Shofik to report and pay 100,000 kyats.
Rohingya Muslims are not allowed to travel from one village to another without prior permission.
