Two infant children died in Naffura, Maungdaw North after hospitals in the area refused to give them treatment.
Three and a half year Noor Nahar and two year Anwar Hossain died on Wednesday after suffering from diarrhea.
The father of Anwar, Ebad Ullah says they were refused treatment in the nearby government operated clinic where staff told them to go away.
Hospitals in Arakan state don’t generally accept Rohingya patients.
Many sick Rohingyas are refused admittance to hospitals on the grounds they were busy with providing services to the ‘people of this country’ i.e. Rakhines and other Buddhists. Since the floods, disease has increased in Arakan.
