Violence continues in Kyauktaw with heavy gun fighting reported throughout the township.
Rohingya Muslims in at least four different villages reported continuos gunfire in the vicinity.
They also say that while the army has not committed violence against them, they had seized cows and chickens, assets that these destitute people can ill afford to lose.
The military has also seized some fuel from the Rohingyas needed for their speedboats.
The situation seems a lot worse for the Rakhine populace as the army raided many villages and burned some houses.
There are also reports of arrest and torture in custody.
