Two arrested on charges of being media correspondents

A woman was raped by a police official as she went to visit her brother in custody.
The incident took place at Nara Bil, Maungdaw on February 7.
At around 12 noon, police arrested two Rohingya Muslims on charges of being correspondents for Rohingya media.
The next morning when the sister of one of the men went to visit them, a police official confined her to a room and raped her.
The two prisoners were later released on the payment of 200,000 kyats.
Their names are not being disclosed for privacy reasons.
