Landmine blast kills one at Myanmar-Bangladesh border

A man named Paiyou Mro (45) was killed in the landmine blast near Myanmar border in Alikadam of Bandarban and wounded his wife including his four children that time, a source from border said.
The incident occured on Wednesday while they were trying to enter the Myanmar from Bangladesh.
On information, they were recovered from the Kuruk leaf of Kurukpata union’s upazila Rally Para area nearby army camp on Thursday morning, another local said.
Bandarban BGB Sector Commander Colonel Iqbal Hossain confirmed regarding the the matter.
The Sector Commander also said, the injured were rescued and are being treated at the Kurokpata army camp.
However, they were crosing Myanmar border by the cooperation of syandicates.
Like them, hundred of Rakhine went to Myanmar from Bandarban district and other southern part of Cox’s Bazar district and settled on Rohingya lands by the Myanmar government, according to different sources. ##
